Toronto-born jeweller Anne Sportun has hired Blend PR to assist with media coverage for her collection of fine jewellery.
Anne Sportun offers a timeless alternative to traditional fine jewellery with an extensive selection of contemporary handmade collections including bridal, engagement, custom and one of a kind designs. Sportun’s flagship store is located in the fashionable and vibrant Queen Street West neighbourhood.
All Anne Sportun jewellery is hand made in the Toronto studio and each piece of jewellery is handcrafted individually. Sportun prides herself on using original techniques of goldsmithing rarely used today (replaced 3D printers and new machines). This gives each upscale piece, longetivity, wearability and personality; helping personify her brand. In 2003, Anne’s contribution to the art of jewellery making was honoured by a Canadian postage stamp featuring an image of her hands making the jewellery.
Sportun’s designs are driven by her belief in a universal language of shape and form. According to Sportun, she looks to nature for inspiration and translates the subtle beauty or organic symmetry into her work.
Naturally, Blend PR is a good fit for Sportun to choose for PR coverage and has experience gaining media exposure for a variety of fashion clients including Dean Davidson and Vanguard award winner Annie Thompson.
Blend PR will manage media relations to introduce the brand to fashion and lifestyle media, reach out to notable influencers and host exclusive viewing events in Toronto.
